Trapjaw Concept

Here's a wildlife concept I worked on with fellow designer Kurt Papstein during pre-production on Evolve. 

These are the bullies of Shear's savage frontier. Trapjaws employ their armored bulk and powerful jaws to intimidate rival predators into surrendering their kills.

ArtRage 4.0

Holy smokes.  ArtRage got better.  I think I like it.  Going to explore more and see if I can find a way to integrate it into my workflow.
